Iroko is a hardwearing timber which is resistant to decay, with a colour that varies from light yellow to golden brown. This colour can be maintained by applying simple oils such as teak oil. Over time the timber eventually darkens to a golden or reddish flush depending on the light over it. This hardwood timber carries a durable classification giving good longevity and minimal movement. Iroko is a considerably stable timber.
